DesktopLinux.com reports the VectorLinux 5.1 LiveCD RC1 iso is available.

Japanese group releases Knoppix Linux CD that boots in less than a minute

TG Daily reports that a version of Knoppix with short boot times has been announced and is available for download.

The group is also planning to release an acceleration kit that will allow other Knoppix developers to make their operating systems boot faster.
